CASC Cheer attended the National Cheerleaders Association's 2022 Collegiate Cheer Camp on July 30-31, 2022 at Connors State College in Warner, OK. At camp, the Vikings learned new skills, bonded as a team, and met with teams from other colleges and universities across Oklahoma. On Day 2 of camp, CASC Cheer competed in the "Run-Off" competition, in which all teams at camp performed a 45 second crowd-leading segment to demonstrate their skills and spirit. CASC was awarded a trophy for second place, a superior rating, a spirit stick, and a silver paid bid to the NCA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Silver Bid will provide priority hotel assignment, reduced registration fees, reduced hotel costs, priority practice assignments, and more perks for the National Championship. Only the top two teams were awarded the Silver Bid at camp. The other Silver Bid was awarded to Rogers State University for their first place win in the Run-Off competition.

The NCA Collegiate National Championship is scheduled for April 5-9, 2023 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
