Men's Cross Country Places Fourth in NJCCA Div. II Region 2

The CASC Men's and Women's cross-country teams competed at the NJCCA Div. II Region 2 meet on Saturday, October 29.

The Viking's men team placed fourth in Region 2. They accumulated 92 points, 17 shy of third-place University of Arkansas-Rich Mountain.

Yeremi Camacho Vazquez finished a team best in seventh place with a time of 28:26.1.

Memphis Elrod finished 17th at 30:14.

Brady Billingsley finished 22nd at 31:33.

Juan Mendieta finished 24th at 31:59.

Caleb Berger finished 26th at 32:10.

Brady Allen finished 27th at 32:27.

Johnathan Figueroa finished 30th at 34:22. 

 

On the Women's side Sydney Bowers finished fourth at 22:40.

Cameron Brantley finished seventh at 23:12.

Mikalynn Camp finished 18th at 25:15.

Maura Tecla finished 23rd at 27:12.

The team will begin to taper their runs in preparation for the upcoming National Race, being held this Saturday, November 12, in Tallahassee, FL.
