The CASC Men's Wrestling team opened the 2022-23 season against the University of the Ozarks Eagles in a unique outdoor setting. The Vikings won the last match of the dual to edge out a 22-21 win.

The Eagles got off to a fast start, winning five of the ten matches on the night. Cayden Felts and Josiah Rhodes stole the momentum with back to back pins. Hunter Hall and Emmett Bivens followed up with decision wins to seal the victory. Thaddeus Long added a major decision in the win column for the Vikings.

The Vikings went on to win eight of twelve extra matches on the day. Exhibition matches were won by RJ Jones, Cooper Evans, Jaden Two Lance, Caden Warren, Trenton Lusk, Matthan Mason, Jewlius Soto, and Trey Hudgens.

The Vikings will next Wrestle Northern State University (South Dakota) at UCO in Edmond, OK.
