Men's Wrestling Labette Dual

The Men's Viking wrestling team squared off against the #12 ranked Labette Cardinals at the Mick Thompson Field House. The Vikings entered the contest ranked #16 in the nation. Thaddeus Long got the Vikings on the scoreboard first with a 10-3 decision win over Romelle Person-Williams.

Kayson Kenney defeated the #6 ranked wrestler, John Vincent, by fall. Matthan Mason and Hunter Hall also defeated their opponents by fall. Josiah Rhodes earned a hard-fought decision.  

Cayden Felts lost by decision to a nationally ranked wrestler, Jeremiah Voliva. Trey Hudgens was the third Viking to face off against a ranked wrestler, losing by major decision. The Vikings look to move up in the standing as they walked out with a 24-22 victory.

The Men's team will take the mat next at the Drury open on Saturday, 12-3-22.
