The Lady Vikings Wrestling team competed on Saturday, November 5th at the Falcon Invite in Wichita, KS. The team competed hard and came away with one finalist and three others finishing in the top six.
Lexi Miller placed 2nd.
Tenley Jones finished top 6.
Rylie O'Steen finished top 6.
Samara Markwardt finished top 6.
This past week Ana Barnoski and Markwardt found themselves making Lady Viking history. Barnoski recorded the first Women's match win with a victory in the our exhibition dual against University of the Ozarks. Markwardt was the first Women's CASC wrestler to record a win in our first ever tournament. We are excited to see what all these ladies have in store for us this year!
The Women are preparing to compete at home this week on Friday, November 11, against Schreiner University. Wrestling will start at 6:00 pm.
