The CASC Women's Wrestling Team competed twice last week. On Friday, Nov. 11, the Lady Vikings competed with Schreiner University out of Texas. Lexi Miller won by fall. Rylie O'Steen won a 12-6 decision. Samara Markwardt won by a 10-0 tech fall.

On Sunday the team hosted the first Annual Viking Women's Open. Miller, Markwardt, and Kylie Hulse all had strong showings finishing as champions. Rachel Dismuke finished in second. Tenley Jones finished in third place. O'Steen walked away with a fourth place finish. Jolie Wilhite finished the day in fifth place.

The Lady Vikings next wrestle in the Lindenwood Duals in St. Charles, MO on Sunday, Nov. 20.
