Gabriel Arroyo, a native of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, brings both playing and coaching experience to the Carl Albert State baseball program. A graduate of the Carlos Beltrán Baseball Academy, Arroyo continued his career in the United States, competing at Galveston College before transferring to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO). At USAO, he developed into a standout outfielder, posting a career batting average above .330, scoring over 135 runs, and proving himself as a consistent offensive threat across three seasons.

In the summer of 2024, Arroyo joined the Terre Haute REX of the Prospect League, where he showcased his speed and versatility with 24 RBIs, 22 runs scored, and 20 stolen bases in 40 games. Following his playing stint, he transitioned into a coaching role with the REX, gaining valuable experience mentoring athletes at the collegiate summer level.

Arroyo now brings his passion for player development, game knowledge, and international perspective to Carl Albert State, where he looks to make an immediate impact on the Vikings’ program.
