Coach Watson is from Smithville, Oklahoma where she also coached at her alma mater for two years. During her time at Smithville she was the Head Coach for High School and Junior High softball and basketball teams. She served as the Head Softball Coach for Smithville Public School from 2019-2021 and Crowder Public School from 2021-2022. Coach Watson is embarking on her 5th year as a Head Softball Coach. Coach Watson enters her 2nd year as Head Softball Coach for the Viking Softball team. Coach Watson is a Seminole State College alumni and University of Central Oklahoma alumni where she completed her JUCO and DII softball careers. While at Seminole State Watson earned 2014 All-Region II honors, 2014 National Tournament semi finals, NJCAA ranked 8th with 19 homeruns, 2015 All-Region II honors. University of Central Oklahoma is where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While at UCO Watson earned 2016 Pre-Season All-American, 2016 second team All-Central Region picked by both the Conference Commissioners Association and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, 2015 earned First-Team All-MIAA recognition, tied fifth on UCO's single season list for home runs (14). She has earned her Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Coach Watson is very family oriented and spends as much time with her family as possible. Fun fact about Watson is that she has a four year old Rottweiler named Izzy.
